We all know that Love is important…but I think we forget that it is also powerful.
You have probably heardĀ 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 read before…it is often read at weddings (it was read at ours! š ) but take a minute and pray for God to open your eyes and heart and then read it again on your own and let it soak in.
Ā 13Ā If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2Ā If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3Ā If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4Ā Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5Ā It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Ā Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7Ā It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Ā Love never fails.Ā
1 Corinthians 13:1-8
Verse 8 has always resonated with me. Love never fails. That is so firm…so sure. While going through life and all the trials and hard times that come our way… I need a reminder because even though it is so profound… I often forget.
My need for a reminder has lead to the creation of a leather bracelet hand stamped with “LOVE NEVER FAILS”. These will be for sale here soon! We hope it will serve as a constant reminder about the power of Love…. after all…God IS Love!
They will be available individually or as a set of 2 (Husband/Wife sets). Wear them as a reminder that Love Never Fails and that it also covers a multitude of sin and can improve/restore your marriage.
