Better Than Newlyweds

Where the Honeymoon never ends!

Being romantic doesn’t have to be a HUGE gesture

April 25, 2013 by Mrs. Hudson

i-love-you-in-lipstickBeing romantic is really about taking the time to make someone else feel special. Leave your spouse a hidden note in a spot they will eventually find it… or tape it the bathroom mirror for them to see in the morning! If you need some help… just leave a quote that means something to you.

Here are some options:

“So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s gonna be really hard. We’re gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day…” – Ryan Gosling, The Notebook

“My heart is, and always will be, yours.” – Sense and Sensibility

“It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together… and I knew it.” – Tom Hanks, Sleepless In Seattle

Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies. ~ Aristotle

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable. ~ Bruce Lee

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. ~ Lao Tzu

For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul. ~ Judy Garland
